Whenever your first reaction to a photo is cool......and then you think, what is it? That is probably an abstract photo.
This is my description of what abstract photo is:
Non representational photography that moves the viewers eye around the page through use of compositional elements of light, repetition of patterns, line, textures. The viewer at first does not know what the object is. A lot of time that means getting very close or very far away from something.

4 hours-1 shot every 20 minutes
Your assignment is meant to help you hone your observational skills and find something interesting in the mundane. There is an interesting composition waiting to be found in every moment. For 4 hours straight take a picture every 20 minutes trying to be as creative as possible
Shadow Photography: When the shadow is the main emphasis in the composition.
Turn in 5 shadow photographs. They should be from different shadows and consist of different ideas. For instance...don't turn in more than one of a shadow on a face.

30/30
The objective is to capture an experience by shooting a series of images. Tell a story by taking 30 shots in 30 minutes on you camera.
Step 1: Set the timer on your phone to 30 minutes. Aim to take at least one picture every minute. Don't over think this. Just explore and shoot.
Step 2: Upload your images and create a collage of your 30 in 30.
Step 3: Post to your Weebly.com and label as 30/30 homework.

Hide and Seek
Your Assignment: Develop your own concept for a hide and seek series. Your series should include 6 images where you hide the same subject in each picture. Rules of good composition must be followed. Criteria:
Have the same subject throughout your series
